Minnesota National Guard Child & Youth Program Calendar of Events for FY2020

View the attached calendar for near monthly activities for children who are a part of a military family. Registrations open throughout the year and events are limited to available spots.

Month of the Military Child Photo Contest- April 1-30, 2020

Military families are invited to capture a photo that depicts what life looks like for their military family. Photo must be emailed to Mel Johnson at melissa.l.johnson125.ctr@mail.mil with no more than 250 words describing the photo, with the family's name and phone number.

Month of the Military Child Art Contest- April 1-30, 2020

Children of active or retired service members and siblings of active service members are invited to submit artwork that depicts how the military plays a role in their life. Entries must be received by April 30, 2020. Send entry form and artwork to Youth Programs, Attention Laura Groeneweg, 600 Cedar Street, St Paul, MN 55101.

Patient Orientation Coffee Talks-

2nd Friday of the Month

These informal orientation sessions start with a presentation and are followed by a question and answer session with a tour. Veterans and their family members are welcome to join to learn how to use the VA health care system and become enrolled if they are not already enrolled.
